  1. Enter the residential, wireless, fax, or VoIP telephone number you wish to register by entering the area code followed by the number (e.g.: 819-555-1234). Click Continue.

  2. Clicking the Continue button will take you to the Confirmation Required page that lets you confirm that the number you entered is correct.

    If the number is correct, type the characters exactly as shown on the screen in the Characters field. If you are unable to read the characters click on "Too difficult? Try another" to generate a new set of characters. If the number is not correct, click Change Number and enter the correct number.

  3. Once you have confirmed the number entered is correct and you have entered the required characters, click Register.

  4. You will be presented with important information about the National Do Not Call List (DNCL). Click Continue.

  5. This will take you to the Registration Results page that will confirm the number has been successfully registered on the National DNCL.

  6. If you wish to register another number, click Register Another Number and start the process again at step 1. Repeat this process for all of your telephone numbers.
